Hold a Grudge, Much?

The following conversation took place yesterday between Mom and I:

Mom: "I'm having a hard time deciding who to root for in the Women's World Cup.  I know I need to cheer for USA but Japan is reeling from a horrible earthquake and winning would lift their spirits.  I need you say something to make me cheer for our women."

Me: "Pearl Harbor, Mother."

Mom: "Gooooo USA!!"

Come to find out, she would have had better results cheering for Japan.
